1. Pray on Time and in Congregation
Make it a priority to pray each salah on time and, when possible, in congregation. Include the sunnah prayers before and after each obligatory prayer.
The Prophet ﷺ promised a house in Jannah for the one who consistently performs sunnah prayers.
2. Perform the Adhkar
After every prayer, recite the prescribed adhkar (remembrances). Also, make it a habit to say the Adhkaar As-Sabaah (morning) and Adhkaar Al-Masaa’ (evening).
These authentic duas from the Prophet ﷺ offer protection from envy, evil eye, punishment, sadness, depression, anxiety, and more—by the will of Allah.
3. Read the Qur’an After Every Prayer
If you read just 4 pages after each prayer, you’ll complete the Qur’an once every month. In Ramadan, your rewards are multiplied manyfold.
Each letter brings 10 good deeds—equating to over 3.2 million rewards for one complete reading.
4. Give Sadaqah Daily
Give charity every day and night, even if it’s just $1. What matters most is sincerity and consistency.
“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if small.” (Hadith)
Your giving doesn’t need to be large—just meaningful and sincere.
5. Read a Daily Tafsir
Choose a trusted tafsir like Tafsir Ibn Kathir and read it regularly. Reading even a small amount daily will:
- Deepen your understanding of the Qur’an
- Accumulate immense rewards
- Equip you to teach and share with others
After a year, you could complete the Qur’an’s tafsir 12 times and elevate both your knowledge and your connection with Allah.
These five simple practices can help you earn massive rewards during Ramadan and develop habits that last a lifetime. Most importantly, continue them after Ramadan to keep growing spiritually.
May Allah bless us, accept our worship, and guide us on the straight path.
